Just wondering if this is still the case as i would like to softmod my PS3 to backup the games i already have to keep the disc's alive.#
I found out about this after doing some googling and wondered if it still would work as i want to safe my game disc's but also still want to play online

Yes if you backup your games to a hdd you will not have to use the discs and so keep them safe from scratches and kids etc.

But i can use other servers right like xlink and others ?

Also i've been looking into but can't find any real answers about online trophys can you still get these and will they stay on the list of trophys i have
