would this work? if you use the.pkg files that are around which create the files on PS3 HDD but are missing the USRDIR files could you put a Bluray disk in and use awesome file manger to move the USRDIR files over to the HDD?

Also have you got to jailbreak to just use file manger, not run games or anything else?
