I've had a modified PS3 for some time. I did not do the modifications myself, it was modified when I bought it. I haven't had much of an opportunity to play it lately. But when I do try to play my backups I am having a great deal of difficulty using the original 3.55 custom firmware (I forget the name) and multi-man.

I'd definitely be interested in finding a better more usable solution. Can someone explain to me what Roger is? Is it some kind of new firmware or what?

I've been told that using cobra as a backup manager is better than multi-man but I'm having trouble getting cobra to install on the PS3. I would be open to any suggestions about a better setup or combination.

Thank you in advance for the help. I really I really appreciate it.

well Roger is a name and it also means "I have received all of the last transmission" in the army and radio :3 hehehehehehe.... anyway... what you actually asking is "Rogero" which is also a name :3 :D hehehehehehehehe.... Rogero actually builds cfw for ps3 he did 4.21 and also 4.30... i would suggest you to use the 4.21 or the 4.30(if all the problems has been fixed)

cobra is a dongle... for it to fully work you need the cobra cfw with the dongle inserted at all times.... backup manager for cobra is older than multiman and was based on multiman 2.0.. its better to use the newest multiman(4.13) than use cobra manager...

Good advice and a sense of humor thank you I appreciate it.

Earlier on this forum I was told to download cobra to my own flash drive and install it. I was told it was open source and there was a free version that can be installed.

I couldn't ever get it to install, I was glad I didn't do that if it was a mistake.

well the guy(deank) that made multiman if the rumors are true actually works for cobra(hail cobra) so by using multiman you actually use cobra manager? lol
