I hear that disabling the PS3 from accessing the internet stops it. Cant confirm myself.
So disable the net work access, just because you are not signed onto PSN does not mean it cannot run cinavia.
If you already played the file once before and the PS3 stopped it, rename the file, add a 1 or whatever to the title name, then play it again. PS3 will see it as a different file and so will try to check it, but as it doesnt have a net connection it shouldnt be able to run.
At least that is what I have heard. If it works then maybe add a post to say if it does so others can know.
