Hi, guys. I've been searching and Googling, but most tuts are from Sept/Oct of last year. My question: is FTP still the best and only way to move gaves from my external hdd to the ps3 internal? I only have 160g internal and it's filled up pretty quickly. I was hoping to store some on my 1.5tb fat32 external and transfer back when needed. Just seems like ftp is still the only option.

Depends on your backup manager. I use multiman and just upgraded my internal hdd. I am using multiman to copy all the games I have backed up on my external to the new internal right now.

Thanks, Whompus! I have Multi-Man so just copy back from external and it will do everything else for me? Can't wait to try!

Yeah it works great. It even merges the split file backups back right for playing.
