Ok.. So I was having problems with my internal HDD Freezing up on certain things. So I hooked up external and tried from there. Now when transferring files from PS3 Internal to External and such... or running off the external even, it will randomly dissapear and stop loading.

I have a 1 TB External HD with its own seperate power source. I do not understand whats going on. Its to the point where I have to get up, turn OFF the external HDD and then turn it back on.. WHATS GOING ON!?

How do you know it's the internal hdd freezing up & not some other part of the PS3 hardware until that issue is sorted there's no point worrying about the external as it more than likely is related,then again USB ain't bug free especially when it comes to external housings
