Hi PS3 gurus,
I have PS3 with 3.65 FW (model CECHJ02),just want to check if i can downgrade it to 3.55 FW?
Once i have downgraded to 3.55 FW, can I play my downloaded games ? or do i need another software to help run the game?
What are the limitation?
Can i still play avi, mp4, mp3 after downgrade ?
Appreciate any help from all the PS3 gurus out there....

Yes with a flasher such as e3flasher (And hope your system falls into the low % I have seen that actually works)

Yes a backup manager such as multiMAN

Thanks for your reply.
E3 flasher seems to require a bit of hardware modification.
can i use kmeaw CFW instead?
or is there any other alternative ?

The E3 flasher is the only one available which does not require soldering.
Also downgraders and CFW are 2 different things.
Since you are above 3.55 you first have to downgrade, using a downgrader, to 3.55
Then you have to install CFW such as kmeaw.
Only other downgraders I know of are teensy and progskeet, and both of those require lots of soldering in wires.
Sorry progskeet is solderless but requires quite a few ribbon cables.
