I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong here, I've got slim 3.55 running kmeaw 3.55, latest mulitman, BDEMU2, every game i try i get either the 80010017 error or a black screen, the only game I've got to work is infamous but I've tried:
red dead redemption Modern Warfare 1 & 2
Black ops
God of War 3
LA Noire
Motorstorm apocalypse
Little big planet
is there something i missing? i have a disk in the drive, I've backed up the disk using mulitman on the internal drive, been a problem for a while now cant figure out what i doing wrong.
i've got a little further, i've got black ops working but motorstorm and LA noire are still asking me to update and when i press O its says i will need to update to play the game.
For LA Noire it must be installed on internal hdd.
Also if just you install the game then you installed the original 1.00 game which required 3.6x keys.
Luckily thanks to $ony's greed they wouldnt give devs the new keys, so all the patches they has to release used the 3.55 keys.
So to get LA Noire working you need to install the game patch which you can download using one of the patch downloaders or google it.
Also I am still on Kmeaw dont see the point in updating to anything else unless they find the 3.6x keys and release a new cfw which supports it. Unless i've miss some important feature on eof the new cfws have.
thanks guys i got them working
LA noire i backed up then put the 1.01 patch started it with mulitman and it worked plus i tried Motorstorm again and found the eboot with the param.sfo moved them over and it worked. that pacth downloader in mulitman installs 1.02 and that requires 3.60 so thats what i did worng before.
only thing now is red dead redmetion but i'm just going to download them for the 360 as i have loads of dual layers and no space left on my internal.
with the new mulitman you can use NTFS drive, can you use IDE? i have a extrenal drive that i use for backing up my pc and it have some free space. how do i do that so it uses that drive?
If you have a USB to IDE adapter, then you can use IDE.
Kmeaw is fine, but the newer CFWs are just a bit more polished...they won't offer to upgrade themselves to 3.66 OFW and they have lots of built-in improvements that are available on Kmeaw, but only by manually doing various different steps, downloading PKGs, editing system files from Linux, etc.
