Hi all i've just been wondering if you can play online after you softmod your ps3 ?
I know you can with the Wii and have done for some time and wondered if you could do the same with the ps3.

Also what is the best way to softmod my ps3 CFW sounds better to me i may have to downgrade though as i'm on version 4.00.

This is mainly to play backups of the games i already have so it saves the disc from distruction lol.

What about the DNS/Proxy tricks will that still work ?

I don't mean to play on PSN even though that would be best but to play on an alternative server
