otherOS on kmeaw 3.55 cfw?

Hey guys I will like to know is an other OS possible in kmeaw 3.55? I read about other os++ and linux asbestOS with lvl2 patcher doing the job.

Have you guys tried it?. If so which is the best one? (I prefereably want to run it through external hdd, do not want to format the internal Hdd).

your help will be great :)

Well the two you listed can be used. But it has to be on internal hdd, I dont think you can install on external.

Or if you have another 2.5" drive place that in the ps3 and install linux on it. Then swap between teh two when you want linux and gameos.

Swapping worked with two gameos hdd, so assuming one gameos hdd and one otheros hdd chouls work as well.

Thanks for that bigo :), will try and see if this works. one more question is there a particular version of linux compatible with ps3? or any os will work?

Tried this tutorial

it just does not work where I press X onto linux in lvl2 patcher. it shows up a blue screen.

I press enter and starts to write some code up. in the end it has a DHCP error.

The ps3 is connected to the internet.

Do you guys face similar problems?. is there an alternative guide I can follow?
