Problem with Media Server

I have been searching for an answer to this for awhile now, hope someone can help.

I have the same problem with more than one media server, TVersity and PS3 Media Server.

The problem is as follows.
When I am watching a video files, AVI, MKV or IFO, on my PS3 there are interspersed flashes of white, blue and red pixel lines. The flashes do not show up when watching on my PC, only when watching through the media server. THe flashes even show up when the video is on pause, although also paused.

At first I thought this might have been an interference issue so I checked the cords and reset my Belkin router to a different channel.
No results.

Here are my specs:

Intel Core i7 920 @ 2.67GHz
Cores: 4
Alienware Motherboard
GPU: Radeon HD 5870
Windows 7 OS

The files I am watching are fine on my PC, this is even occurring on older files that I had previously watched with no issues.

The PS3 and Media servers are all the current versions of the software.
