Ok so I am new to this and I am having problems playing backups from both internal and external hd's. I've got Kmeaws CFW installed and I'm using multiman 1.16.10 (the latest version). So far I've copied 6 games and only two of them are playable. The rest either freeze up or just take me back to xmb after I try to load them. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Hey man here ill break it down for you.... dont use Kmeaws... or multiman, im not dising mutiman or kmeaws but i can tell you what i have and what iv found works best from testing them all out.. so here it goes.
update to sonys 3.55 firmware, then install wanikoko 3.55 cfw, next install geohot 3.55 cfw and finally download and install gaia manager 2.07 as i has the most compatibility. iv done about 20 games and all of them work.
if you have further questions or need more assistance like details on how to do install them etc... just let me know i can walk you threw it. :D :D
Remember you still need a disc in the drive to play backups. Also not all games work well with direct boot. So when you press X to load a game select No at the next screen which takes you to the xmb, then scroll to the disc and run from there.
I've got 15 games and they all work on kmeaw, except Assassin's Creed at first, but now that works with multiman's bd emulation, which you can run be pressing SELECT+X instead of X, though note this option requires an external hdd.
Also have you installed BDEMU on your consoles? multiman does not come with the payload any more, so you need to get that separately, just google BDEMU.pkg and you should get a link to download it.

Yeah since Multiman doesnt come with the payload any more thats why i recommended using Gaia Manger 2.07 because it does come with the payload and it also does not require the patching any more... so its pretty much good to go.
And he is right, the Either CFW is ok to use, i just recommend the koko and geohot etc... because thats what i use to i know it works with all of them etc.. not saying one is bad or anything.
Though gaia can not play Assassin's Creed 1, multiman can with it's BD emulation, dont know why gaia hasnt added it though. Nothing stopping you from uses both managers on either cfw, just make sure the gaia one is the GAMES one as that is where multiman saves so better to have your backups in one place.
