hey guys i am trying to play red redemption but there is one file which is 7gb and cant go on my fat 32 hard drive...... so i use ps3 split to split the files......however when i copy it to my fat 32 and launch it through gaia or multiman manager it gives me an error code :/..... what do you guys do to play games which have file over 4gb???..... i didnt try the internal hdd to play it cause it takes too long to transfer.... can the internal store files over 4gb??........any help will be greatly appreciated :)
whenever i try to ftp a game it times out :/ anyone knows why? i am using filezilla and the internal ftp in gaia, multiman and black box, all of them time out... :/ any idea guys?
Gaia is crashing as you are using multiple connections. I found this when I tried, you need set the connections to 1. Before pressing Connect in filezilla click on the Transfer Setting tab and check the Limit the number of connections box and set it to 1. This is if you continue using gaia and wirelessly.
If you use the methos in link above, well I set mine to 10 connections but it only ever uses 3. But as you are directly connected you get much faster transfer speeds.
Not sure about phat consoles but slims have a gigabit ethernet port. So if your pc has a gigibit port as well, transfers will be real fast.
So in future any games which have files larger than 4gb must be installed on internal hdd. The rest will be fine on external.
