It would be great if someone came up with a way to install PSN games in general...I know that it is a potential route to piracy, and that piracy is at least half of theft, but isn't it also theft for Sony to prevent me from downloading the PSN games I paid for simply because my system has Linux (another feature I paid for)? You might say that they have the right not to let me on their server...but I backed up all my PKG files, so what right do they have to prevent me from installing something I paid for from my own media?

Sony is a den of thieves; sometimes when you take back what has been stolen from you, you have to break the locks, thus allowing others to steal from the thieves...and I have no problem with that. I used to think of the developers and how they are affected by piracy, but if they continue to support the actions of Sony by making PSN exclusives and by locking all the DLC content to the PSN store, I don't even feel sorry for them.

It's the publishers who make most of the money any way, and it's them I have no concern for.

Mods and downloading finally give the consumer the chance to say 'Make it cheaper or you get nothing' without missing out on anything.

I'm happy to pay anyone a reasonable fee for their work.

Piracy also gives consumers the ability to tell developers that we are not willing to accept unfair restrictions like DRM.

Lets see...$60 to install the game on one system and to have the game crash if my internet goes down for 1/2 second

...or a free game that I can install on all my systems and which does not need any internet connection at all.
