Hi. I did the 4.2 softmod to my wii a little while back and I noticed in the instructions it said this part was optional. The Hermes Cios Installer. It said you only need this if you use the usb ports for mics or instruments. I had 2 guitars at that time where I used the wiim ote in them so I didn't install it. I bought Rock Band last night and noticed I now need this as the drums and guitar are plugged into the usb ports. How can I add this in without screwing anything else up?

What I did already. I added the "AnyTitleDeleterMOD" folder and the "Hermes cIOS Installer" folder to my sd card in the apps folder. I then followed the instructions from the mod to install it. Everything seems to go ok but the guitar and drums still don't work. They are set up properly cause if I play the game through the disc channel instead of my external HD, it works. Problem is my disc drive plays randomly and gives errors a lot so I avoid it if I can. So basically I screwed something up and the install didn't go properly. My bigger yet easier question is this. Can I set my wii back to the way it was before I modded it and restart? This is of course if I can't get it working. Thanks a lot in advance.

Am I allowed to bump my own thread? I would think someone has an easy explanation for this? Hopefully. :)

just run the cIOS installer. then when you use the usb ports, the right side (top when system is laid flat) is what you use for the peripherials, and the left side (bottom) is for the hard drive.

then in configurable usb loader, change the ios to 222 and see if they work. if not, try 223.

ps2: v7 scph-39001 - independence exploit - hdloader 0.8c - maxtor 300gb hdd
(+[__]%) psp slim ta-085v1: 6.60 PRO B10
wii (powered by bootmii/priiloader): 4.1u - d2x v10beta53-alt (base 56) - configurable usb loader v70r51/devolution r188 - wd scorpio black 7200rpm 320gig w/ ams venus ds2 enclosure

got a whole lot more to list . . .
