not the hack that runs homebrew on the wii emulator on wii-u, but a wii-u mod that allows copying games to a drive and playing them off the drive.

No and don't plan on it any time soon because the wii u uses the same security as the 3DS so you will have to wait a long time also on top of that without the wii u being able to access the sd card slot in wii u mode the exploit would have to be installed through the wii emulator on the wii u also with most games being 25 gigs to 80 gig disks i dont see it being hacked any time soon

i dont have a wii u, neither do i have 3DS but i know a "R4" card works on the 3ds, only thing they havent cracked is the 3D content, also PS3 games can range from 4 gig to 54 gig and people run them from hdd (which has cfw obviously). if they can do this with ps3s that are years old, i think there will be an exploit and it will be soon. Moral of the story..... if it can be hacked it will be hacked

True but it will take time
Also there has been a rumor of the console using a new digital verification routine that would disable the wifi adapter if illegal software was detected but i doupt this because we heard the same garbage about the 3ds and yes the 3ds will disable your wireless but you can reset it by using the reset console or format memory option so i guess security doesn't work on the nintendo side of things huh
