Can I play USB loader games online?

e.g. grand slam tennis...there is an online option.

If I play online, can nintendo detect that I have a homebrew and ban me like they do on xbox 360.

I'm a wii homebrew noob, been xbox 360 mod player the past few years.

You can play USB Games online, and Nintendo cannot detect Homebrew when you're online...That's not to say they cannot detect Cheat Codes online, however.
