can't read disk error (chipped Wii)

Hi,

I have a Wii with 4.3U firmware update and a WiiKey chip (1.9g). The Wii can't read any disk (backup copies AND originals). Always have a "Unable to read the disc" error. Wii works fine, downloaded games works fine, but no DVD games works.

I cleaned the laser lens using the Wii cleansing kit. didn't helped.

What would be my best alternative?

I don't know much about the WiiKey, or hard mods, but I would softmod the Wii again using either ModMii or PimpMyWii.
