CFG USB Loader problem with hard drive?

I am using CFG USB Loader v70 mod with Toshiba Stor.E Basics 500GB USB 3.0 (0480:A007). The loader works, plays games for hours, but it only loads if I plug in the hard drive after loading the CFG USB Loader. If the hard drive is already plugged in, CFG USB Loader stays frozen on the logo screen. The USB devices compatibility list says it should work.

Toshiba StorE Art4 500GB USB 3.0 Not Tested Not Tested Issues Tried USB Loader GX, WiiFlow and CFG USB Loader, using the whole partition in Fat32 and NTFS. All loaders froze during boot. Only works when the HD is connected when the loader asks for a USB device. 0
Toshiba Stor.E Basics 500GB USB 3.0 & 2.0 0480:A007 Not Tested Not Tested Works Was initially as the Art4. Fixed by adding drive to usb.ids in the root directory of the harddrive and can now use CFG with FAT partition.


So my question is: How do I add the drive to usb.ids in the root directory of the hard drive???
