hi yall, im new to the wii modding scene and think i may have done something wrong already :s
ok so i bought a new black wii a couple of days ago. its 4.3e
i followed a video on youtube on how to softmod it using lego batman.
now the video was in real time so everything that happened in the video happened at the same time for me and it all seemed to go right.
after i had finished i tried some different things and was a little dissapointed and confussed.
-homebrew channel,
seems to work ok but i tried bootmii from there and all i get is black screen and my wiimote shuts off. to get back i have to hold the power button.
-usb loader gx(from the wii menu),
takes me back to the wii menu. nb. i have formatted my hdd correctly and place my backups on correctly and tried different usb ports although i am told i need it in the bottom one if my wii is laid down.
-other homebrew from homebrew channel.
they just seem to crash or do nothing/boot back to wii menu.
so i read about syscheck and thought id try it and suprised as i was it accually worked.
heres the results;
sysCheck v2.1.0b7 by Double_A

like i say im new to the wii but this dont seem to look like other results iv seen posted.
To run GX loader - go to the homebrew chanel and start it up, select the USB Loader GX and start it (does it work now?)
Where are you putting your homebrew, it should be on the SD card in the apps folder.
What homebrew refuses to load,
You seem to have some strange cios options as you appear to have duplicates,
I have 222 - rev 4 base 38 (as you do)
223 rev 4 37 merged 38
224 rev 5 base 57
248 rev 21 base 37
249 rev 21 base 56
250 rev 21 base 57.
So on the HDD you have two partitions, one for games and another for the homebrew apps? Or do you have an sd card? If you're trying to run everything from the usb try loading the homebrew channel and press 1 to switch it to load from the usb drive.
