Hello everyone,

I softmodded my wii yesterday using Larrylje tutorial, I followed the instructions to the letter with the exception of backing up the Nand. Homebrew is installed. I was unable to install bootmii as Boot2 so i installed it as an IOS. I tried backing up wii sports using rawdumper and burning it up with Nero as well Imgburn (i tried both). The burn completes successfully but i get an error message saying it cant be read and refers me to the user manual when trying to play it on the wii.

I also tried downloading two .iso games, mario kart and supersmash brothers. I attempted to burn trying both imgburn and nero, The burn completes successfully but once again i get an error message when trying to play it on the wii.

I tried using both nero and imgburn at 1,2 & 4 speeds with Verbatim DVD-R disc's, no success.

What am i doing wrong?

How can i determine if the wii was softmodded successfully? I followed a tutorial to the letter, everything went smoothly no errors, no freezes. I assumed it was a success.

How are you trying to play it on the Wii?

I use Neogamma r6.

I use verbatim or tdk at 2.4x with neogamma 7 and only had trouble with 1 game think it was the region code but all others work
