Q) After i buy this dvd reader (External USB LG GDR-8082N DVD), to read the wii games and use raw dump 2.0 to make it a iso.... then burn it in to a regular dvd 4.7 gig dvd. do i have to have a modchip in my wii to play the copy games i just burned. if so, its not worth me messing up my wii up just for games that i what to keep.? please help!!

keep in mind that newer wiis can no longer read burnt discs,your only option is to soft mod the system

Discs are the old method, look at a HDD loading

CFG, GX, Wiiflow.

which is the best usb loader and can you have more than 1 on your wii channels rather than loading from sd card,i am having trouble with my wii seeing my usb one will work(only small 4gb) and one wont(5gb)they both have games on but it wont see the 5gb for some reason,any help would be much appreciated.cheers
i have gx as a channel at the mo and wiiflow on sd but neither will see my 5gb

Either the HDD is not compatible. How in the world did you get a 5GB HDD?!?! Its not even enough for 3 games LOL. It also depends if you have formatted it properly. You are aware unless you install a special cIOS you will only be able to hook only 1 HDD at a time from the right side USB port. I have never had problems with USB loader GX and the latest version is even better, let's you load 2 HDDs at a time and even change the USB port that you want to use.
I would most probably say the HDDS you are using are CRAP!!! and need to stop being cheap and get a new good one (one that is at least 1TB) they are pretty cheap these days.
