I just got my copy of GH5 running on my Softmoded 4.1u Wii. I played around a bit in the Online store.
1. What are the GHWT updates in the Special offer area? Two are listed assuming V1 and V2(Labeled)
2. Are they safe on a Softmoded system?
3. Also 200wii point for allot of the GHWT songs. Do you need to supply a serial number for them from the Original GHWT game manual?
4. Then is it safe on a softmoded system?

I have a softmodded 4.0U system, I used the guitar hero 5 dlc patch and unlocked all dlc for this game, I downloaded the updates, V1 and V2, that was a month ago, still no problems.

Yes , you do need a special number from Guitar Hero World Tour to pull a 35 track (I think 35) set into guitar hero 5. But be sure to know that All songs available for GHWT in the music store are now also available for GH5

Thanks. I don't even have a Copy of GHWT. Rented it before I bought it and didn't like it so never bought. Also was before I softmodded and could if I was unethical do the unmentionable. I might buy onesie twosies of GHWT to import into GH5 But even with this game it is not satisfying my taste completely. I hope Band Hero will fit into our home.

We are all allowed our opinions so don't flam me because I did not like GHWT or GH5.

Off a different angle. I know Activation and Harmonics Generated some band base game but they will never be able to fill everyone's needs. There are allot of talented Freters out on the net to try and fill these needs. Who know Bands themselfs could hire these to fret game in their name for record promotion. Garth Brook will be one of the first he is a marketing genious. That title would get as mutch spin time as my GHIII and GH Metallica.
