Greetings forum,

A friend of my father gave us a wii with games included in a external usb-loader. I downloaded Call of Duty 5 by torrent (Call of Duty (wii) UKFR.iso) and I cant write it on a dvd-r (Verbatim). I tried Astroburn, CloneDVD, Imgburn and NERO, none of them recognized my empties dvd-r's. So, since I cant (or maybe I dont know another way how to) write it on a dvd, I noticed that the games in the usb-loader were in wfsb format. Can you please make the simpliest tutorial as possible? I googled a lot about this issue but I cant understand most of them or didnt work for us. Im not very fit with computers features, programs and stuffs. I'm trying to help out my brother(screenshots would be very appreciated). My laptop is VAIO VGN-FE11S and my operating system is windows XP.
Hope you can reply this as soon as possible.

you need to use WBFS manager to put the ISO Files onto the harddrive, also to read the harddrive without it windows will tell u to format the drive which is bad.

There are a few popular ways to set up USB Loading.

Option 1) is converting the ISO file to a WBFS file using Wii Backup manager and adding that to a FAT32 formated USB HDD.

Option 2) is to format the drive WBFS and transfer the game to the WBFS formated USB HDD using Wii backup manager.

How to tell if the setup is option 1 or option 2....

Option 1) when connecting the USB HDD to your PC you should be able to use windows to navigate what is on the drive (should have a wbfs folder on the drive that has the GAME FOLDERS inside that.

Examples of how the directory could look...
USB HDD DRIVE LETTER:/wbfs/game folder/game.wbfs
USB HDD DRIVE LETTER:/wbfs/game.wbfs

Option 2) You will only be able to access the drive from a WBFS manager and will not be able to use normal explorer in windows to navigate the drive. When connecting the drive to your PC it will say it needs to be formated and you will need to use a WiiBackup magaer to acsses the files on the USB HDD.

Tell us which option best describes your setup and we can go from there.
