Hi.
I have modded PAL Wii (Wiikey 1.0, system update 4.1.e), I've downloaded MPT and in order to play it I want to remove system update from game disc. Unfortunately WiiBrickBlocker (v1_3R2) gives me following error message: Metroid Prime Trilogy USA.iso isn't a valid Wii ISO file.
Any suggestion would be nice.
What happens if I update my current system with NTSC system update?

there is a 99.9% chance you will brick you wii. It is never a good idea to allow a update from a different region update on your wii.

Thanks, I know that percentage of bricking is high. I've just seen some other cases, when update is minor and it only duplicates Wii channels.
Anybody knows answer to my problem.
I hate that PAL regions almost always have to wait for game release and right now MPT doesn't even have clear release date for PAL.

It works fine skvanis, i just updated one of my PAL consoles and it's fine. I think i prefer the old gamecube control scheme of metroid prime though.

If your wii is on firmware 4.1 then the odds of bricking are very low. If you have an earlier firmware though then you'll likely semi-brick the console.
So make sure you update first.

G'day guys!
I literally just made an account to answer this thread... and afterdawn i a pretty cool site.
My mate semi bricked his wii by doing the update... but you don't need the update to play the game!
my system is a 4.1e with a chip another mate built... but it doesn't matter. Seeing as though you have a wii key, i'd also assume you'd have the homebrew channel, yes? if you dont, get it asap, stop shilly shallying! If you do have ye homebrew, get the Gecko OS loader, and load the game disc that way! simple, works... no fuss, no muss.
