My Wii can't read the DVD

I burned the iso (I tried both PAL and NTSC) successfuly with Imgburn but when I inserted the disk in the Wii it said that the disk couldn't be recognized. Any help?

What DVD Media & Brand are you using?
What speed are you burning the iso at?
How old is your wii?
Are all your games giving you this problem, or just a few particular ones?
Is your wii properly softmodded?

First off do you have the system softmoded or hardmoded?

If NO then you need to do 1 of the 2.

If YES then is your Wii a new Wii? If it is a newer Wii then backup disc will not work on the newer drives. You will need to use a USB Loader to play backup discs.

If it is Hardmoded or softmoded and an older Wii then you either don't have it softmoded/harmoded right or you have an issue with the backup disc itself.
