I just bought a new Wii that is black and I assume it has the D3-2 drive that prevents some usage. What I want to do is hook a Portable hard drive to it and play games that others have copied. Is this possible, how do I do it, and what hardware do I need to be able to make it happen? I have read a bunch of the different ideas but much of it doesn't make sense to me.

This will tell me everything I need? Even what hard drive to buy or that is compatible.

1 hard drive from the "wii compatibility hard drive" list (google!)
Internet connection
