Hey all you afterdawn geniuses..I need your help...again. I bought the new super mario bros wii game today, and I can't make my backup. (the kids are too rough with games) I can't get it to dump using rawdump 2.0. I don't know why. I searched but couldn't find anything that addresses my problem. Is this a "double layer " disc game?-The only other game i was unable to back up was super smath brawl b/c it was double layer. Thank you for any help

This is a single layer game.

Try dumping with friidump.

Thank you for the suggestion...I looked at some of the friidump threads on afterdawn...and I don't know if I am smart enough to use it! I keep trying to use rawdump...I actually got it to start dumping one time...but then it said an exception had occured and shut down. I'll keep trying.

I have had problems in the past with rawdump 2.0 but when I downloaded and started using rawdump 2.1 all the games seem to backup with ease. I haven't been able to get my hands on the "New Super Mario Bros Wii" but for everyone using Wiikey v2 is anyone sure when the new firmware will be released? I was going to buy the game but after reading about people having problems playing there back up games and I also have the same problems with my niece and nephew being rough on games so I wont buy it until I can FOR SURE make a back up copy... Is anyone sure when the Wiikey team will release this?

Why don't you try the superdump method-worked everytime for me, and much faster than the rawdump method.(it's in my sig,just click on it you will find all the info you need) trust me ,if you get this to work you'll probably not use the rawdump again-I don't.

I tried to use friidump...it's too complicated..i couldn't get it to work. Then I downloaded rawdump 2.1...no luck there. I was looking at the superdump thread...I have some questions about it. It will only work on sd card? I want to dump the game onto my hard drive, then use imgburn to make disc. Does superdump help me? My wii has a Wiikey...but no homebrew channel. Thanks to everyone who made suggestions.
