my son got my wii modded with usb loader so we have a hard drive works great except when i put a disc in it loads the blue light around the drive comes on but shuts off and nothing happens wondering if its because of the mod or do i need a drive any inputs would be great

You need to provide more info, such as:

-What is the console's current firmware?
-What region is the console?
-What region is the game?
-Is the disc an original or backup?
-If it's a backup, what DVD media did you use for it?
