no hacks preloader

hi, help needed, i have just soft-modded a wii on 4.3 using lego starwars exploit, the wii has a newer driver so wont read dvd-r, so using a usb loader. the problem i am having is when i try to use pre-loader (hacks section) to block disk updates it says no hacks found. the main reason i am asking this is because retail version of just dance 2 is asking for update.
one other thing after following the guide to soft-mod i am no longer on 4.3e but 4.1e.

There are dedicated hacks for each system menu, I would never advicate downgrading, however I would imagine that you would now need the hacks for ststem menu 4.1. Also take note of which version of priiloader you have

Here's the latest Priiloader, try this first, and there is a 4.3 hacks.ini in the last link I gave ya, but your 4.1, so thats no good to ya. I'd be inclined to update to 4.3 through Nintendo, ( will wipe out your hack)and do the hack again with letterbomb, no game required. But wait for kittymat to confirm, I'm not dead certain on this.

going to explode now tried everything. file extensions etc, think i am just going to do full softmod again using letterbomb. just need to know its ok to updtae to 4.3 after wii has been downgraded to 4.1. then do the letterbomb exploit from new 4.3

1) instead of doing the whole mod again, get modmii it runs on your pc and downloads everything you need inc priiloader and all the hacks, it will also ensure that your cios's are up to date, follow the guide, as you already have the homebrew channel, start the guide from just after that option

You can find ModMii here, if you prefer not to update.
Or update through Nintendo and use Letterbomb, found here.
My guess is that you installed a System Menu 4.1 wad, or something of the sort. I'd give modmii a try, or if you've got some nuts try PimpMyWii, found here. It's said to be more risky but I've used it to softmod at least 15 Wii's and have never had problems. It runs like any other homebrew app, and downloads any needed ios, or cios, similar to ModMii except it downloads and installs directly to the Wii. No need to transfer SD card back and forth.
If all else fails update to 4.3 and rehack with letterbomb. It is VERY easy!
