sry but ive been searching all day and have yet to find a solution to my problem. Im not sure if maybe im missing a step but nothings worked for me yet.
i used to have my wii soft modded and had hbc running on it and im assuming my brother updated it at one point to the 4.3u version.
I followed this guide tolink to try and re-mod it and it then led me to this guide since i recieved the no vulnerable ios error and this guidelink didnt help me either i continue to get the error and dont know how to fix it. i jut want to install the hbc but i cant get passed this error. what can i do?
i was wondering if the fact that my wii was once modded and then updated through nintendo has anything to do with it...please help :/
I had something like this happen. One time. I made the boot.dol to be a wad manager of the hack mii installer and manually installed some CIOS files, 202, 222, 223, 249. You really just need one them to the the homebrew channel. Should be able to install the homebrew channel normally once you have a custom IOS file installed.

would you happened to still have boot.dol you made and ive tried to install those cios files by downloading the boot.dol files and adding them to the apps folder but each time i start one up the screen freezes... i dont understand what im doing wrong. :/
best is to download dop-mii v15, and use that as your boot.dol. then update all IOS under 200 to the latest non-stubbed versions, and remove IOS202, 222, 223, 224, 248, 249, 250.
rerun the hackmii installer, and HBC 1.0.8 will detect IOS58, and will be able to install to the system.
then download IOS236 v5 installer, and run that. IOS236 will be used whenever you run wadmanager.
afterwards, download cIOSX_rev21 installer. then install the following: base IOS56 to IOS248, base IOS57 to IOS249, and base IOS58 to IOS250.
Follow this 4.3 guide. Even has a video. Dop-mii is not needed. This guide even has all the files you need including the channels for disc and usb loaders with cios rev 21.
