i have a harddrive that was working perfectly then i updated to 4.1 and then to cIOS 14. After that i couldnt get the hdd to be seen. Ive tried downgrading to 3.4 and uninstalling and installing rev 13 all the way to 15. whats going on, is there a was to test the hdd, did something get installed thats block the cIOS and can I wipe out all IOS and start from scratch. Thanks.

I'm not sure if it will help, but when I load homebrew channel, it never finds my usb hard drive the first time. Instead I have to exit to the wii menu and reload the homebrew channel, on the second try it loads up fine. Try it and see, it might not work, but it's worth a shot. Every once in awhile the wii stops reading my hard drive while using a homebrerw app (like snes or nes) not sure where the problem is coming from, but I never had a problem when I ran them from sd. If anyone could tell me why mine does that, or how to remedy it, that would be great.
