Hello, i have some problems playing games from my external hard drive, i installed everything that was nescesary following this tutorial: http://lifehacker.com/#!5518518/how-to-back-up-and-play-your-wii-games-from-an-external-hard-drive

When i start usbloader i have no errors and i can also install new games to the hard drive. But when i select one of the installed games, nothing happens, i just get a black screen but the game doesnt start. The screen stays black untill i turn off the console. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Or if this might help, does anyone have a good up to date tutorial on how to play games from a hard drive? I have menu version 4.3 and have cios etc installed (does this need to be uninstalled?), sorry for my crappy english

I am really new to this so forgive me if am no help.

Do you have usb loader using cios 249? (may be default not sure).
Mine (usbloader gx) is running cios 249, and I only had to (individually) change 2-3 games to run cios 250. I also have neogamma and it loads my games from disk and hard drive with no probs. The only time I remember getting black screens is when the game needed a different cios. 98% of mine run on cios 249 and just a few required cios 250 to work. which all you have to do is ensure the cios is installed then go into the actual game settings of the game and change what cios it is to use for that game.

Hope you get it figured out soon, and I am sure someone with a lot more knowledge of this will reply soon.
