softmod wii 4.3e question

i'm in the process of a softmod on my wii 4.3e using letter hack....
anyway i've been following a guide from wiihack and was just wondering when installing the homebrew channel and bootmii it says something about boot 2 but the guide said it may not let me access boot2 but the ios installs automatically anyway. on the but there's an option to install an ios under the bootmii install should i leave it cos the guide said it would automatically install or should i install it my self ? one more question can i leave my wii on version 4.3 or do i have to down grade it ? just wondering on that last one...e my wii on version 4.3 or do i have to down grade it ? just wondering on that last one...

If you get the option to install bootmii as boot 2, do it, if not, then ios will av to do, but as far as I can remember you have to choose it. Do not downgrade, no need to.
