Softmod Wii with Blurred / Pixelated Games

Just like the title says, I did a softmod using modmii. If i put in my original wii sports game or use the USB verison i copied from it the game is blurry/pixelated. For instance you can not really see the face of the pitcher in baseball clearly. I have tried other games as well and they all have choppy graphics espcially when objects are moving. I have tried the original composite cables as well as an HDMI adapter I bought. No difference. I recently tried mod me again thinking some IOS may be out of date. Still no luck. Any help is appreciated.
