Hi,

I recently softmodded a wii (its an older one we had with a broken dvd drive), however this wii was completely blank, no save data or anything like that. Quesiton is , does the softmod process clean the wii first, i.e. deleting channels/game save data.

No it does not - the person must have cleaned channels / savedata off the wii
