Total Newbie - Need help to download games

I am totally new at this, but my son has been on me to get wii games on USB drives. I letterbombed my wii and seem to have installed homebrew fine, now what ? I need to know what software I need on my computer to be able to download games, how to put them on a USB or external hard drive and also WHERE TO GET GOOD GAMES that won't just load for hours and hours and then show corrupt or incompleate.

Firstly..... you are aware downloading games are illegal and if you don't watch out (in other words be careful where you download them from you could get a massive fine or even go to jail).
To make your Wii read games from a HDD just search for Modmii and follow the step to softmodd your wii and you should be OK.
