anyone know how to do this? I've been googling for the last hour and haven't found anything. I also have Configurable USB Loader but my games are not showing there. I'd like to put gx 2.0 on the home page

You'd have to download a Channel WAD file and install it using WAD Manager. You'll find the USB Loader GX 2.0 Channel WAD file and similar files listed on this page: http://usbloadergx.koureio.net/downloads

Got that done along with some other wads. My only problem now is getting the newer games such as black ops and donkey kong to load, any thoughts?

Don't know much about USB Loading....All I can suggest is that the games require IOS that you do not have. What is the current firmware version of your wii?

But I don't know of any guides for Black Ops, you'll have to find that yourself.

We were, but now he wants to know how to get Donkey Kong Country Return & Black Ops to load from the channel. I gave him a guide for Donkey Kong (Link is above), but I don't know of any guides for Black Ops.

Thanks for all the help 12137, I haven't messed around with the wii in since Jan 2010 or so and am getting back into the swing of it.

Update- At least what I have read, the game won't work on usb loader gx and that is the main one I have because configurable usb doesn't seem to recognize my games on the hard drive.

Found the guide- got the game to work under configurable usb loader-just wish I didn't have to hit A everytime to get it to recognize the hd, so easy I'm embarrassed I couldn't figure it out last night

One last question-Is it safe to play games online threw the USB loader and all of those on the hard drive or is there some type of risk to it?

According to this: http://usbloadergx.koureio.net/help/faq It is possible to play USB Games online, however it did mention some kind of bug, so be careful.

theres no problem with backups on WFC

i play mario kart and super smash bros brawl (legal backup) on WFC and thers no problem with it
