Hi, this is my first time posting here, but i need help with my iso/usb loader gx problem.
I soft modded my wii and all that worked fine and then i found out about playing wii iso games from a usb/HDD hard drive. I would of used my Toshiba external hard drive but i have to much stuff on there that i can't format off. So im currently using an 8GB thumb flash drive. It's not bad until i save up for another TB external hard drive.
But i downloaded the iso for Resident Evil Archives and used the WBFS manager 3.0 and put it on the usb and loaded it up on my Wii. Works great played about half an hour or so, saved it and quit and looked for other games of interest. Then i tried downloading GH: Warriors of Rock and it downloaded fine, extracted fine, and was put on my usb fine, all normal, just like RE: Archives. Then i tried to load it up with usb loader gx on the wii and i click on it and hit play, but it just freezes on a black screen and i can't do anything until i turn off my wii and restart it.
So basically im wondering if it's a bad iso, even though it downloaded, extracted and got put on the usb without a problem. Or if its the loader/wii. Any help? Because i can't find to many NTSC (U) versions of the game. Mostly just find PAL. I appreciate any help, and ill provide as much info as i can.

I'm pretty sure GH requires a specific IOS to run. In USB Loader GX select the GH game and go in to settings. Change the IOS it uses from 249 to 223. This should take care of your problem as long as your IOS are up to date. If they're not up to date I recommend you use PimpMyWii or ModMii to do so. If you need help updating, just ask.
