USB Loader not working

So a friend of mine installed Homebrew GSX Loader or something like that on our wii and it was great and worked awesome until my ds friend clicked on update and now it doesn't work. So I have been trying to search the right tutorial on the internet to get it back working but I have no idea where to start or what to do. There where tons of games on the USB drive that my buddy had on when he gave it back so I really don't want to loose all of them. What do I do where do I start? Can I just do something with the SDcard to get it back up and running so that I don't loose all those games... When I asked my buddy if he could redo it for me he said it wasn't him that did it so I need to fix it myself. Could someone dummy proof this for me. Please... Thanks in advance...

Sorry to say this but it seems your friend who softmodded your wii in the first place is a tool and seem to not know enough to do softmodding as if he did he would gladly get it back and running as it is a simple process.

Hope you get it solved, and tell your mate who softmodded your wii he is GAY for not helping you and that he did not do a good job (a lousy one in fact, as he did not probably install priiloader to block updates from Nintendo) and to your friend who did press update (tell him he is a dushe for just going ahead and pressing it without asking you about it first).

As above follow the modmii guide - make sure that you enable the priloader hacks (in the guide) You can block updates!
