Using the wrong IOS is there any harm that could be done?

Let say I know that GH5 works because I used a guide that told me to install IOS222 then IOS223 mrg with 37 then tell my USBloader to run the game using IOS223.

Now I try to plan RockBand Beatles. First off I leave everything at it defaults. Why not if it works but we know it will not. Guides for this game have a similar way of getting the game to play as GH5 being installing the IOS56-64-V5146. Only I have yet to do this. Mainly because I have not needed to. Could I try and run RB Beatles using IOS223? Maybe it would work Maybe not.

1. Is there any harm that can be done trying the wrong setting for that game in USBLoader?
Now as for the other setting
2. Video Mode (I assume should only be needed if the game is not 3. your Region) and then Any Harm?
4. Video Patch
5. 002 fix
6. Others?
