Hi there i have a laptop and dont have a ide port. So i want to convert the LG dvd drive through usb use.
Which external Case is best?

Anything that supports USB 2.0

You will need AC power because 5-1/4 external cases cannot be USB powered.

However, you may experience problems if the PC doesn't recognize the drive because of the USB 2.0 connect.
