So...

I am attempting to resuscitate a red wii system. I would assume its running 4.3u.

The system will turn on, and the TV will recognize something is plugged in, but its just a blank screen, and there is no response from the wii controllers when attempting to connect to the sensor bar.

I disassembled a Gamecube controller, and did the savemiifrii hack where you plug it into the 4th port and press down on all four d pad directions simultaneously, but this has produced nothing. Now I still have a bricked wii, and a disassembled gamecube controller.

Can I try anything else, or should I just sell the Wii for parts? If its something I can fix, I would prefer to try it myself. Thanks!

We have exactly the same problem, But my Wii is is 4.0.
