does anybody know how to get this game working? i have a softmod 4.2 wii with usb loader.
when i try to play ace in action it just loads to a black screen and i have to restart the wii. i had the same problem with black ops but updated to 249 and that is working now.

Is the game out of region (PAL NTSC etc)

You did not just upgrade your 249, you must have changed the base. You should look to have a range of CIOS's on your Wii

There are only 2 types of CIOS's Hermes and Waninkoko, you add them to a slot on the wii with a genuine Nintendo ios as a base.

So 249 means nothing - it should be 249 rev21b base 57
(Hermes is rev4, 5 or 5.1, Waninkoko rev 14, 17, 20 ,21b etc)

Black ops needs a base 57, however not all games will run on a base 57 cios

I have

222 rev4 Base 37
223 rev4 Base 37 merged 38
224 rev5.1 Base 57

249 rev21Base 56 (run the loader on this)
250 rev19 Base 57 (run BOps and Sims 3 on this)
