Wii game burn ISO help

I know there are many posts about a similar topic (i have read some of them), if there is one about this exact topic, then please point me in that direction. I recently downloaded an ISO of maramusa: the demonblade for the wii (got it online as iso). Now when I put it on a disk, and into my wii it says unable to read disk. The ISO seems fine, and compressed correctly and trimmed. I used IMG burn at 1x speed on a dvd+r 8x playo (i know it is not the best brand) disk. My conclusions are: I did it wrong (in which case, please point me in the right direction), or it requires a dual layered disk. I would really appreciate the help, and I was also wondering if there is a website or post that says if a wii game is dual layered or not.

The game doesn't require a DVD-9. It may be because you are burning at 1X. Try adjusting the rate to 4X just to test or use a different meida.

ok thank you, also what speed is usually nessesary to burn a game I have seen tutorials that say 2x and some that say 4x (like you).
