wii not reading burnt disks

hi,
hope someone can help, my wii is modded and ive burnt some iso files to disk which work fine but some ive done get to the menu screen on a game and then the wii says it cannot read the disk? ive tried burning at a lower speed and it doesnt make any difference. is there anything else i can try or is it just down to the torrent ive downloaded?

does anyone know any good sites to download games from?

ah... yes this problem
i have some questions for you
1,what brand are u using?
2,what chip set does your Wii have (go to www.wiidreives.com and put in your serial # to find out)
PS.if your wii has the D4 drive chip it can't read dvd-r's and +r's at all
