Here's what I have going on:
Was 4.0U softmodded and original WiiKey. Run my games off of a USB hard drive, no problem. Had channels installed to access my games directly instead of through a loader.
Tried this to get Wii Sports Resort to work:
http://www.wiihacks.com/general-homebrew...rts-resort.html
Nothing. Black screen and the NeoGamma says that the .dol is too small.
So I updated to 4.1U, reinstalled the IOS60 patched.wad. Same
SO: Cannot get WSR to work, and now all my channels and the orginal USB loader I use (Waninkoko's) give me Error 002 blue screen on every game, but when I load in NeoGamma (with the error 002 fix) they work fine.
How can I fix this?
P.S. I am a noob. Sorry

Use NeoGamma as the USB Loader or use USB loader GX. Both have #002 fix.
You need to get the alt-dol file from the Wii Sports Resort ISO.
Open it in Wii Scrubber and go to partition2>sys >mpls_movie and save the player.dol file.
Rename the Player.dol file to RZTE.dol
For NeoGamma enable the #002 fix setting and Enable the Alt_dol setting. Place the RZTE.dol in the NeoGamma folder that should be located at the root of your SD card.
For USB Loader GX enable the #002 fix setting and Enable the Alt_dol setting. Place the RZTE.dol in the root of the SD card.
Both ways should work. Also I would update to cIOS38_rev14 which came out the other day.
After you play the motion+ video the first time you can then disable the Alt_dol option in whatever USB loader you decided to use.

Thank you Larry.
I did each of those things, both with GX and NeoGamma. I got the dol file and renamed it. Put it on the 16GB card and get a SD error, put it on a 2GB and it says that the dol is too small (short?)
Also, of all fun things, when it boots without the dol all i get is a black screen. If I have my burnt disc in the drive, the loaders and HBC won't even load! WHen I eject the disc, it's fine.
Go figure. I am stumped
And I did upgrade to the rev14 cIOS

I just reformatted the card in Fat32 and created the .dolfile again fresh in WiiScrubber
Same error in NeoGamma - .dol file too small.
Frustrated! Ahhh!

Did you place it in the root of the SD card and try to load it with USB loader GX?
Sounds like a SD Card problem to me. Don't know what else it would be. It seems to be having trouble reading the Alt_dol file.

Ok, well I figured out how to use the alt_dol. I needed to update my version of GX
When I loaded the game, though, it gave me a black screen for ~10 secs then rebooted into the HBC
WTF? :)
Anyone have any ideas? I'm at a loss

You placed RZTE.dol at the root of the SD Card?
You enabled both #002 and Alt_dol in USB Loader GX?

USB GX asked for RZTE01.dol. Placed it on the root and selected the 002 fix and the alt-dol from SD. Still got the black screen, then rebooted.
I am at a loss......
Any other ideas?

Hey I am having similar problems. I finally reinstalled USB Loader GX entirely so it was fully updated and working with 4.1 system menu. I have the game on my hard drive and I even managed to get the video to play but after that it just goes to a black screen and does nothing or just goes back to the main menu. I have no idea what to even try at this point. I turned off the alt-dol and I just get the black screen. When I have it on I can just watch the movies again or return to game which takes me to the menu. =(
Edit: Nvm. I don't know if this will work for anyone else but I just flipped some settings around. Turned off alt-dol and set the error 002 fix to "anti" and now it's working.

I don't even get to the movies. Tried every combination I can think of in both USB Loader GX and NeoGamma. Maybe I am missing something?
Gamma still tells me the the .dol is too short. I don't get it

I still have nothing. Possibly a bad iso? The game doesn't even show up in the disc channel, and I have a WiiKey!
Any thoughts are appreciated

Please forgive the triple-post.
UPDATES:
I got a new iso and burned a fresh copy. I also used WiiScrubber 1.3 instead of 1.4 last time.
It took a while to get the game onto my hard drive, but finally worked.
Used NeoGamma with the alt-dol and it loaded. Movies kept freezing up and giving the Disc cannot be read error. Reloaded again, and video got a bit further, but still errored. Did this 4 times before it finally made it all the way through.
So I can get into the game now, but every time I load up Swordplay, it freezes right before the fight begins.
IDK what this is.

What kind of media are using? DVD-R or DVD+R? What program do you use to burn and at what speed? I had the same problem with the video not playing all the way through. I burnt 3 copies of the game before I got it to play all the way through. Then when I did get to play the game I'd get a disc error, please insert wii sports resort, every so often. So I just ejected the disc and put it back in. This seemed to do the trick. Now I've got NTSC version and it plays perfectly on USB Loader GX with new Rev 14.

I have been trying to get this game to run for days now. I have read everything I could find. I finally got it to semi-work. I got the video at the end (blurry), but when I try to play the game, it comes up very blurry. Does anyone know how to fix this issue? I am a noob - I know you get sick of hearing that...lol. I am using softmod with neogamma 6. I am using Verbatim discs with imgburn at 4X. I would be happy to answer any other questions - not sure what information I should include here.
Also, I burned Wolverine and got the 002 error. I launched it with neogamma with the 002 fix and it loaded - but blurry and black and white like the resorts. Someone please help!
Thanks in advance!

Here is the solution that worked for me, took two days and bunch of trial and error but I have the game loaded. I don't have M+ yet so I'm not sure about any freezing issues during game play.
I am running 4.1e firmware, cIOS38r14, NTSC-U version of WSR.
Scrub your iso with wii scrubber, I used ver 1.30. Extract the player.dol or whatever it is called, there are plenty of posts about where to get it and what to name it.
Use WBFS to load the scrubbed iso to your HDD and place the renamed player.dol onto the root of the SD card.
I used the usb load gx channel to get the m+ videos to load up. Fire up the channel and set the alt dol to load from the SD card and turn the #002 fix on. The videos should load with those settings. After the video plays the system should reset.
Here is where I couldn't get a darn thing to work. The game kept freezing on a black screen and I had to manually reset each time until I used the forwarder for usb loader gx ver 1.0 and not the channel.
From HBC load up the usb loader gx ver 1.0 from a SD card. Here are the settings...
Video mode - Force NTSC
VIDTV Patch - ON
Game Language - Console Default
Ocarina - OFF
IOS - 249
Parental Control - 0(Everyone)
Error 002 fix - ON
Online fix - OFF
Patch Country Strings - OFF
Default Gamesettings
The thing that I don't understand is when you use the forwarder there isn't an alt_dol setting.
Game loaded fine with these settings.
I went back and tried doing this through the loader channel, after I ran the forwarder from the SD slot, and the channel worked as well.
The forwarder changed a few of the channel settings for this game. I know this b/c the only time I tried the Video Mode option was from the forwarder.
Patch Country Strings - OFF
Alternate DOL - OFF
DOL from disc - OFF
Block IOS Reload - OFF
I think those are the only different options b/t the forwarder and channel. Someone having issues should try these settings for the channel first to see if both ways work.
If this doesn't work for you just keep trying, thats how I got mine to work...
