Wii stopped playing burned games

Hi, my Wii used to play burned games, and now it doesn't anymore. I still have the NeoGamma on my system, but when I try to load a burned disc, it says "DVD-Err (00053000), Disc ID" then it will say "DVD-R + no cIOS!", then "Drive Date: 20080714", and then "Drive too neww for DVD-Rs :-(". What is the problem and how can I fix it? Thanks.

sounds like a game might have updated the drive or changed the drives firmware

Here is what to do i would first use bootmii to update to the latest cios for your region then try neo gamma again
