WiiMC Help Error

I am having a problem with wiiMC. I set up a network drive and I am supposed to be able to stream my movies but whenever I try to connect my wii to my SMB SHare I get an error that says
"cannot connect to SMB share" or something like that.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it still does not work. Is there any one out there that knows how to fix this?

In order for me to get it connected I had to turn off password protected sharing. Also make sure you have the proper IP address of the PC that your streaming from added to the connection

seriously, though, dude, you really helped. this was driving me mad! I changed the IP address and now everything works great! Thanks for your time and help. Too bad there isn't a "like" button. I'd click it.

Hey, I just wanted to say thanks for your help earlier, but I ran into one small problem. It keeps buffering. It will stream for like five minutes or so and then will buffer every three seconds or so over and over again so much that it's unwatchable. I have a new router. ASUS RT-N16. I am not sure what to do. Any advice you can offer would be greatly appreciated. I was running the latest wiimc version but I read some forums and they said downgrade to 1.1.1 and it's not working anymore. PLease help. Thank you.
