I had this problem and it was driving me nuts. The solution was to install IOS53-64-v5406 and IOS55-64-v5406. Just sharing as I couldn't find this answer on afterdawn and I have benefited greatly from the forums over the years. Cheers

Hi, Jimmy Eat world is awesome by the way. Different Wad files will use different IOS's just like any other game on the WII. So it might be good idea to Google what wad needs what IOS.
BTW sorry you could find an answer, but it's awesome that you would post how you fixed it for others, thank you.
